Aichelberg

Aichelberg is a small village on the northern fringe of the Swabian Alb in Baden-Württemberg, situated directly at the Albaufstieg — the point where the A8 motorway climbs onto the Alb plateau between Stuttgart and Ulm. Its elevated position at the Albtrauf escarpment offers views into the Stuttgart region's foothills and makes the surrounding area a quiet base for walks along the Alb rim. The village itself is modest with no major landmarks; its appeal lies in the open landscape on the edge of the Stuttgart metropolitan area.
