Alicante railway station
Victorian EraRailway Station
Almelo station is the main railway hub of the Dutch city of Almelo in Overijssel province, built in 1960 in the sober style of postwar Dutch reconstruction architecture. Unusually for a building of its era and function, it holds the status of a Rijksmonument — a nationally protected landmark. Around 6,500 passengers pass through daily, with services ranging from regional trains to the cross-border intercity connecting Amsterdam and Berlin. The station is fully wheelchair accessible.
