Asano

Asano Station is a small commuter stop in Yokohama's Tsurumi-ku district, operated by JR East on the Tsurumi Line. Opened in 1926, it takes its name from industrialist Asano Sōichirō, whose enterprises shaped the surrounding industrial waterfront. It functions purely as a local transit halt with no tourist infrastructure.
