Asakusa
Asakusa Station is a terminus of the Tobu Railway in the Taitō district of Tokyo, opened in 1931 and one of the city's older private-line stations. The Shōwa-era building sits directly on the Sumida River and serves as the starting point of the Tobu Skytree Line toward Nikkō. A separate Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express line lies roughly 600 metres to the west — travellers should confirm which station their line uses.
