Aschach an der Donau

Aschach an der Donau is a small market town of roughly 2,200 residents in the Eferding district of Upper Austria, situated on the right bank of the Danube between Linz and Passau. The municipal office operates on limited hours (Mon 8am–12pm and 12:30–5:30pm, Tue–Fri 8am–12pm). For visitors passing through the Danube region, the town serves primarily as a quiet stopover along the Danube Cycle Path.
