Astley Hall

Astley Hall is a Victorian manor house dating from 1850 in the village of Astley near Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, listed as a Grade II historic building. Its most notable resident was Stanley Baldwin, who served three terms as British Prime Minister between 1923 and 1937, most famously navigating the abdication crisis of Edward VIII in 1936. Baldwin retired to Astley Hall after leaving office and died here in 1947. The property is now operated as a private care home under the name Astley Hall Care Home and is not open to the public.
