Annandale Distillery

Annandale Distillery sits just outside the town of Annan in Dumfries and Galloway, in southern Scotland, and is one of the region's oldest whisky-making sites. Founded in 1830, it operated for decades before falling silent in the late 19th century. After nearly a century of dormancy, the distillery was painstakingly revived in 2014 and now produces both single malt and blended Scotch whisky using traditional methods. Guided tours lead visitors through the Victorian distillery buildings, finishing with a tasting session of the house expressions. The on-site shop stocks exclusive bottlings largely unavailable outside the distillery.
