The Autocesta A1 — colloquially known as the Dalmatina — is Croatia's longest motorway, linking Zagreb to the Dalmatian coast via Karlovac, Zadar, Split, and Ploče. It does not yet reach Dubrovnik: the current terminus is the Metković interchange, where it transitions into the A10 toward Bosnia and Herzegovina. The extension to Dubrovnik is planned for 2025/2026.
