Autostrada Adriatica

The Autostrada Adriatica (A14) is Italy's second-longest motorway at 743 kilometres, running from Bologna south along the Adriatic coast through Ancona, Pescara and Bari to Taranto. Opened in 1965 and tolled along its entire length, it functions purely as a transit corridor — a logistical artery with no visitor attributes of its own.
