Post-War Era
Fehmarn-Burg station is a small railway halt in the central town of Burg on the island of Fehmarn, connected to the Lübeck–Puttgarden line via two junction curves. Passenger services were withdrawn in 1984 and freight traffic ceased in 1995, leaving the station without any rail activity for over a decade. A new halt opened roughly 200 metres north of the original station in 2010, quietly restoring the island town's rail link after years of absence.
