Fujieda Station
Fujieda Station sits in the city of Fujieda in Shizuoka Prefecture on Honshū, operated by JR Central on the Tōkaidō Main Line. It opened in 1889 during the Meiji era, when Japan was rapidly building out its national railway network. Today it functions primarily as a commuter hub for the city of Fujieda, with little tourist infrastructure beyond basic transit connections.
