Kinshichō Station

Kinshichō Station sits in the southern part of Tokyo's Sumida ward and is jointly operated by JR East and Tokyo Metro. Opened in 1894 during the Meiji era, it functions today as a practical interchange between the JR Chūō-Sōbu and Keiyō lines and the Hanzōmon and Ōedo subway lines. The station itself holds no particular tourist or cultural distinction and is best understood as a transit gateway to the surrounding neighborhood.
