Orlando Health/Amtrak

Orlando's Amtrak station is one of Florida's oldest continuously operating intercity rail facilities, opened in 1926 in the Mediterranean Revival style that was fashionable across Florida during the interwar land boom. The low-slung stucco building reflects the architectural vocabulary of the era, drawing loosely on Tuscan and Spanish precedents. Today it serves as a stop on Amtrak's Silver Star and Silver Meteor routes running between New York and Miami. Located well away from the theme-park corridor, the station sees mostly long-distance rail travelers rather than tourists.
