Peine station

Peine station serves as the main rail stop for the Lower Saxon district town of Peine, roughly 50 kilometres east of Hanover, connecting regional services between Hanover and Brunswick. The town itself is best known for its steel industry — the so-called Peiner Träger, a wide-flange steel beam, became a global standard in construction. No distinctive architectural features or documented heritage status are on record for the station building itself.
