San Sebastian Church

Also known as: Basilica of San Sebastian, Minor Basilica of San Sebastian, San Sebastian Basilica

The only entirely all-steel church in Asia — a feat of colonial Manila's engineering from 1888. The Augustinian Recollects built this neo-Gothic wonder in the dense Quiapo district; Ferdinand Marcos declared it a National Cultural Treasure in 1973, and it has been on UNESCO's tentative list since 2006.
