Battersea Park

Also known as: Battersea fields

83 hectares on the Thames south bank — London's green counterpart to Chelsea since 1858. The park is home to a Japanese Buddhist Peace Pagoda (1985) built as a post-war symbol of reconciliation. Art installations, a children's zoo, and Thames riverside walks make it a beloved local escape.
