Bauernhausmuseum

The Bauernhausmuseum in Lohr am Main preserves the rural architectural and everyday culture of Lower Franconia through historic timber-frame buildings protected as a Bavarian heritage monument. Like other farmhouse museums of its type, it displays agricultural tools, period household objects, and furnishings that offer a window into pre-industrial village life in the Spessart region. The museum is suited to visitors with an interest in agrarian history and traditional craftsmanship. Note that wheelchair access is currently not available.
