Bayshore Boulevard

Bayshore Boulevard traces the western shore of Hillsborough Bay for 7.2 kilometers through South Tampa, featuring what is widely claimed to be the longest continuous sidewalk in the world — a roughly three-meter-wide pedestrian path with a low balustrade running the entire length. A dedicated cycling lane accompanies nearly five kilometers of the route. A narrow greenbelt between the walkway and the roadway gives the corridor a park-like feel, making it Tampa's go-to spot for runners, cyclists, and evening strollers. The unobstructed views across the bay toward downtown Tampa's skyline are especially vivid at sunset, drawing locals and visitors alike to the waterfront at dusk.
