Besançon Franche-Comté TGV
Contemporary Architecture
Belfort-Montbéliard TGV station is located on the outskirts of Meroux, southeast of Belfort, and opened on 11 December 2011 alongside the LGV Rhin-Rhône high-speed line. It is one of only two passenger stations on that line, and via the reactivated Belfort–Delle route it also provides rail access to Montbéliard and the Swiss canton of Jura. Regional train services were added on 6 December 2018. The station is fully wheelchair accessible and operated by SNCF Gares & Connexions — straightforward transit infrastructure with no particular tourist draw.
