One of the world's largest Orthodox cathedrals in the heart of São Paulo.
The Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral of São Paulo is the principal church of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese for Brazil, located in the city center of São Paulo. Built in the neo-Byzantine style, it ranks among the largest Orthodox cathedrals in the world. Its domes, mosaics, and golden interior bear witness to the rich liturgical tradition of the Syriac Antiochian Church. Brazil's Arab-origin diaspora, one of the largest worldwide, has built a spiritual center here across generations, weaving together faith, culture, and community.
