Open green space and local nature conservation site in Brent Cross, north London.
Clitterhouse Playing Fields is a large open green space and designated Site of Local Importance for Nature Conservation in the Brent Cross area of the London Borough of Barnet. The site consists mainly of mown grassland enclosed by dense hedgerows. Along its eastern boundary runs Clitterhouse Stream, a small urban watercourse and tributary of the River Brent. A playground serves visiting families. The fields function as a local recreation area for surrounding residential neighbourhoods.
