Deutscher Platz

Deutscher Platz in Leipzig lies in the central district and has been named since 1929 after the Deutsche Buecherei, now the German National Library. The main entrance of the monumental library building opens directly onto the square. Otherwise this is a fairly functional address for daily traffic around the library - a stop for readers, not a sightseeing destination.
