Eaton Square

Eaton Square is an elongated garden square in London's Belgravia district, laid out from the 1820s by the master builder Thomas Cubitt on behalf of the Grosvenor Estate, the family seat of the Dukes of Westminster. With its white stuccoed facades and six successive garden enclosures along King's Road, it ranks among Britain's most expensive residential addresses. Past residents include Margaret Thatcher, Sean Connery and Roman Abramovich, while embassies such as Belgium and Bolivia line the perimeter. The central gardens are private and key-holder only; visitors can stroll the surrounding pavements.
