Haliç Park

Haliç Park — officially named Cemil Meriç Görme Özürlüler Parkı — is a public green space along the southern shore of the Golden Horn in Istanbul's European district. Large trees shade open lawns that look out over the waterway separating the city's historic peninsulas. The park serves mainly as a local retreat from Istanbul's dense urban traffic rather than a destination in its own right. Visitor reviews note that upkeep can be inconsistent, and the waterfront walkway is currently under renovation.
