長野縣護國神社
Shrine
The Kasuga Taisha Treasure Hall (国宝殿, Kokuhōden) is the museum of Kasuga Grand Shrine, one of Japan's most important Shinto sanctuaries, traditionally founded in 768 CE. It preserves more than 3,000 designated national treasures spanning the Heian and Kamakura periods — lacquered armor, ritual swords, Noh masks, and ceremonial objects created specifically for the shrine's rites. Open daily 10:00–17:00, the collection offers a rare close look at the material culture behind centuries of imperial court Shinto practice.
