Logan Windmill

Logan Windmill is a tower windmill near the small settlement of Ardwell in Dumfries and Galloway, southwest Scotland. Since 1972 it has held Category A listed status — Scotland's highest tier of heritage protection, reserved for buildings of special architectural or historic interest. Little is documented about its construction date or operational history, which makes it more of a quiet field monument than an interpreted visitor site. It stands as a rare surviving example of rural milling infrastructure in Galloway's agricultural landscape.
