France Miniature
Amusement ParkFamily Outing
Miniaturk is a miniature park opened in 2003 on the northern shore of the Golden Horn in the Sutluce district, and with six hectares one of the largest of its kind in the world. Its roughly 135 models at 1:25 scale cover monuments from across Turkey and the former Ottoman lands, from Hagia Sophia and the Sumela cliff monastery to the rock-cut churches of Cappadocia. The displays are embedded in detailed landscapes with miniature trains, ships and a modelled Bosporus. An interactive zone is aimed at children, and a separate area shows northern Cyprus. For visitors with no time to reach Anatolia, it offers a fast architectural tour of the country.
