Schloss Ludwigsruhe

Ludwigsruhe is a small country estate and village quarter of the town of Langenburg in the Schwäbisch Hall district of Baden-Württemberg, set amid the rolling hills of the Hohenlohe region. Until 11 August 1761 the settlement was known as Lindenbronn; it was renamed in honour of Ludwig, Count of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, who commissioned a pleasure palace here. Listed as a protected cultural monument, the estate reflects the dense aristocratic culture of Hohenlohe, a region historically dotted with minor noble residences.
