Wehlsteinaussicht

The Wehlsteinaussicht is a rocky viewpoint in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains near Steinach, situated just a two-minute walk from the main car park on the path toward Bastei Bridge. It faces the Pavillionaussicht directly opposite, offering a complementary perspective over the deeply carved sandstone valley below. As an early stop along the popular Bastei route, it catches visitors before the crowds thicken further up the trail. Note that a few steps make it inaccessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. On clear days the valley panorama is particularly sharp.
