Khmelnytskyi is a city of around 274,000 people in west-central Ukraine and the administrative centre of Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Situated along the Southern Buh River, it functions as a regional hub well away from the main tourist corridors. Points of interest include the Pokrovska Church, the Church of St John the Theologian of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, and a prominent TV tower standing 208 metres tall.
