Hulunbuir

About Hulunbuir

Hulunbuir is a prefecture-level city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of northeastern China, bordering Russia and Mongolia. It is one of the largest administrative divisions in the country by area and is home to roughly 2.2 million people. The Yimin River runs through the urban core of Hailar, crossed by the Yimin River Bridge (伊敏河大桥). The Xishan Park white sand beach (西山公园白沙滩) serves as a popular local recreation spot within the city, offering a rare sandy riverside setting on the grassland frontier.
