Naxos is a small settlement in the Metropolitan City of Messina in northeastern Sicily, not to be confused with the ancient Greek colony of Naxos located further south near Taormina. Nestled in hilly terrain, it sits within the municipal area around Mongiuffi Melia. The surrounding landscape is shaped by peaks such as Pizzo Trau and Monte Nero. Local points of interest include the Chiesa di San Nicolò di Bari, the Chiesa di San Giuseppe, and the Fontana di San Paolo, while the Belvedera viewpoint offers broad panoramas over the Sicilian highlands.
