Orkanger is a small town in the municipality of Orkland, Trøndelag county, Norway, situated along the Orkafjord not far from Trondheim. The surrounding landscape offers rewarding outdoor activity: the elevated viewpoints of Gråhåmmåren and Vågfjellet, the highland area of Trønsdalshøgfjellet, and the ridge of Råkvikkammen are popular destinations for hikers.
