About Norway

Norway occupies the western part of the Scandinavian Peninsula in northern Europe, bordering Sweden, Finland, and Russia. Its coastline, one of the longest in the world, is deeply indented by fjords formed during the last ice age. Oslo serves as the capital and largest city. A constitutional monarchy, Norway lies partly above the Arctic Circle, where the midnight sun and the northern lights are natural seasonal phenomena.
