About Ploče

Ploče sits on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, near the mouth of the Neretva River where it meets the Adriatic Sea. With a population of around 8,200, the town is best known as a significant regional port, anchored by its General Cargo Terminal. Its position also makes it a convenient base for exploring the nearby Makarska Riviera. Among its local points of interest are the churches of Svi Sveti and crkva svetog Jurja mučenika, as well as the chapel of the Lady of Grace.
