Xincheng Township is a small municipality in Hualien County on Taiwan's eastern coast, home to around 20,000 residents. Sitting where the Central Mountain Range meets the Pacific, it serves as a gateway to Taroko National Park. Among its points of interest are the dramatic cliff face of 錐麓斷崖, the recreational area 大清水遊憩區, and the temple forecourt of 廣安宮.
