Zschopau
Zschopau is a small town of around 9,000 inhabitants in the Ore Mountains of Saxony, Germany, situated along the river of the same name. The town has a notable industrial heritage centred on motorcycle manufacturing at the former MuZ-MZ Motorrad- und Zweiradwerk. Visitors can explore the St. Georg church, the Stülpnerbrunnen fountain commemorating folk hero Karl Stülpner, and the Besucherbergwerk „Heilige Dreifaltigkeit Fundgrube" show mine. The Scharfensteiner Kanzel viewpoint and the Reinhardshöhe offer scenic outlooks over the Zschopau valley and access to the surrounding upland landscape.
