Finland is a Nordic country in northern Europe, bordered by Sweden, Norway, and Russia, with a coastline along the Baltic Sea. Home to around 5.5 million people, its capital and largest city is Helsinki. The country is defined by vast forests, approximately 188,000 lakes, and long summer days with midnight sun.
