Макет ракети Р-11

An outdoor display model of the Soviet R-11 Semlja short-range ballistic missile, installed as a monument in Radomyschl, Ukraine. Known in NATO nomenclature as the Scud-A and catalogued in the Soviet GRAU index as the 8A61, the R-11 was one of the USSR's first operational surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, developed in the early 1950s. Static rocket monuments of this type are a recurring feature of post-Soviet urban landscapes, serving as Cold War-era markers of military heritage. Without on-site interpretation panels, the exhibit rewards visitors who already have some background in Soviet military history.
