ЗіС-150

A preserved ZIS-150 Soviet truck displayed as an open-air memorial in Perejaslaw, Ukraine. The ZIS-150 was manufactured between 1947 and 1957 by the Zavod imeni Stalina (ZIS) — literally 'Stalin's Factory' — and descended from the pre-war ZIS-15 design. In its final production year, the truck was quietly renamed ZIL-150 as part of Khrushchev's de-Stalinisation campaign, erasing Stalin's name from the factory and all its vehicles. The exhibit offers a compact snapshot of Soviet industrial output and the political rebranding that followed Stalin's death.
