Wall and Hanover Building

63 Wall Street — also known as the Wall and Hanover Building or The Crest — is a classicist-style high-rise in Manhattan's Financial District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built as the headquarters of investment bank Brown Brothers & Co., it embodied the architectural ambitions of early 20th-century American finance. Between 2003 and 2004 the building was converted into luxury residential apartments, retaining its distinctive classical facade throughout the process. The building is not publicly accessible today, but stands as a well-preserved example of New York's early banking architecture.
