Región de Murcia International Airport

The Región de Murcia International Airport, also known as Corvera Airport after the nearby town, is the region's main international gateway and replaced the former San Javier Airport in 2019. Completed in 2008, the terminal sat unused for over a decade due to prolonged concession disputes before finally opening to commercial traffic. It primarily serves charter and low-cost carriers connecting the Murcian coast to European leisure destinations.
