Afifābād Garden
Afifabad Garden is a historic Persian garden spanning roughly 127,000 m² in the western part of Shiraz, protected as an Iranian cultural heritage site. Laid out according to the classical chahar bagh tradition — symmetrical pathways, water channels, and dense tree plantings — the garden embodies a design language that traces back to pre-Islamic Iranian garden culture. During the Qajar era the estate passed to the Iranian royal court, which added a palace structure now used as a museum. Today visitors walk shaded paths beneath old cypresses and orange trees, making it a quiet retreat from the surrounding city.
