Agios Eleftherios

Agios Eleftherios is a stop on Line 1 (Kifissia–Piraeus) of the Athens Metro in the Nea Filadelfia district, opened in 1961. Its structure is architecturally mixed: part of the station sits at ground level while another section is carried on a viaduct bridge, setting it apart from the mostly underground stops along the same line. The station takes its name from a nearby church and offers two side platforms with step-free access.
