Ano Patisia

Ano Patisia is a station on Athens Metro Line 1 (Kifissia–Piraeus), opened in 1956 to serve the northern residential district of the same name. It was fully modernised and reopened on 30 December 2003 as part of a system-wide renovation of all Line 1 stations ahead of the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics. For visitors, it functions purely as a transit stop into a dense north-Athens neighbourhood with no particular tourist draw of its own.
