Alte Oper

The Alte Oper U-Bahn station sits underground beneath Opernplatz in central Frankfurt, opened on 11 October 1986 as part of the C-line network. It is served by lines U6 and U7 and is fully wheelchair accessible. The station functions primarily as a transit stop for the opera quarter, providing access to the adjacent Alte Oper concert hall from which it takes its name.
