Stantari

The Alignement de Stantari is a prehistoric row of standing stones in the south of Corsica, near the commune of Sartène, set within one of the western Mediterranean's densest concentrations of megalithic monuments. The menhirs are thought to date from the Neolithic or early Bronze Age and are classified as a French historic monument. The site sits in close proximity to the Fontanaccia dolmen and the Renaggiu alignment, suggesting a broader ritual landscape rather than an isolated monument. Visitors access the stones via rough tracks through dense Corsican maquis scrubland.
