Almere Centrum

Almere Centrum station is the largest railway station in Almere and the busiest in the province of Flevoland. It opened in 1987 alongside the city itself — Almere was built from scratch on the reclaimed Flevoland polder beginning in the 1970s, making it one of the Netherlands' youngest major cities. Operated by NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen), the station connects Almere to Amsterdam, Utrecht, and other national destinations, and serves as the central interchange for local bus services. The station is fully wheelchair accessible.
