Arnside Tower
LandscapeLate MedievalRuins+6
Arnside Knott is a 159-metre hill near the village of Arnside on the Cumbrian coast, sitting within the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Short, well-marked trails through mixed woodland lead to the summit in under an hour, making it accessible for a wide range of walkers. The open top rewards visitors with views across the tidal flats of Morecambe Bay and, on clear days, north towards the Lake District fells. The modest elevation makes it a popular outing for families as well as casual walkers.
