El-Tod

At-Tud, more commonly known as el-Tod, is a small settlement in Egypt's Luxor Governorate, roughly twenty kilometers southwest of the city of Luxor along the Nile's east bank. In antiquity the site was called Djerti and formed part of the 4th nome of Upper Egypt. Beyond its ancient toponym, little is documented about the present-day locality.
